For my final project of Intertexutality, I have decided to study writers from indigenous groups around the world inspired by Tommy Orange and his novel There There. These writers have made notable achievements and have helped the outside world understand and respect their indigenous people. This neatline will look at authors from indigenous groups in Africa, Mexico, Australia, Russia, and North America. By writing poems and books regarding their indigenous backround, these authors are making strides to bring attention to the indigenous groups that are rapidly losing their culture and people to the western world.
