Description

Illustration of a feathery bird flying over a border wall. "Thousands of Mexicans try to cross every day from the northern border of Mexico, to the United States in search of a better life. At the same time, thousands of Central Americans cross Mexico's southern border with the same objective. In the process, both Mexicans and Central American migrants suffer all kinds of abuses. They are robbed, extorted, beaten and humiliated. In other words, their human rights are continually trampled. BBC toured the Mexican border and invited journalists and academics to show this harsh reality and collected testimonies of the protagonists of this process." --- BBC Mundo Fronteras de Dignidad
