World War II poster. The top 2/3rds of the poster is a half-length illustration of an immaculately groomed young woman staring off into the distance as she clutches several sheets of correspondence with both her hands. She wears a mauve jacket or blouse, a slender wristwatch, and she has rich, wavy hair and long, painted fingernails. Slightly to the right of her head is a small hanging with a blue star in the center of a white rectangle, bordered in dark red.
