Description

A young girl leans against the ruins of a building during the Korean War. Williams often documented the damaged and bombed-out buildings he encountered in Korean towns and cities. During the stalemate of 1952, rebuilding was largely on hold as the Korean people awaited results from the protracted peace talks.
