Two women exchange joyful afternoon greetings on Olympic Boulevard, the main drag of the sprawling, 200-block Koreatown. The redevelopment of Koreatown began in the early 1970s, concentrating along Western Avenue, Olympic Boulevard, 8th Street and Vermont Avenue. Photograph dated September 18, 1988.
