Title
A Proposal for a College of Sciences at the University of Santa Clara
Creator
Santa Clara University (Calif.). Office of the President
Subject
College of Arts & Sciences, SCU, 1973-74
Description
This document was written by Father Terry and was asking for the separation of the College of Arts and Sciences into two colleges, the College of the Humanities and the College of the Sciences. He believed that this would be helpful for the students at the university as well as the faculty and staff associated with these majors. This document was written in 1964 and was not implemented for another two years until 1966. This document demonstrated a difference in how Santa Clara students were taught and grouped together in the 1973-74 school year compared to the modern day.
