Description

Anno Sjoerd Titus Brandsma (1881–1942) was a Frisian Carmelite priest, professor, journalist, and Dutch resistance fighter during World War II. He was beatified in 1985.

Photo: Original document reporting the death of Titus Brandsma in Dachau, addressed to his brother-in-law M.J. de Boer in Oegoklooster/Bolsward. The letter is signed by the camp commandant, SS ObersturmbannfĂĽhrer.
