El Derecho de Vivir en Paz is a song by Chilean activist and musician Victor Jara is a protest song originally written against the Vietnam War. After the 1973 Chilean coup, Jara was tortured and killed by Pinochet's government. After his death this song was used by Chileans to protest the Pinochet regime. This new recording is a tribute to him and the resistance of Chileans.
