Dissection in the Ancient World: Inspiring Hayy Ibn Yaqzan
View FullscreenHi everyone! Welcome to my Neatline exhibit on Dissection in the Ancient world and some parllels I drew to Hayy Ibn Yaqzan.
There are several ways you can navigate this Neatline exhibit, but I would recommend going in order of the waypoints on the sidebar or in chronological order along the timeline.
The points along the map have several different colors that correspond to different locations and concepts. The green dots connect to Ancient Indian dissections, and the pink dots represent Greek dissections and philsophy that comes with that. The dark blue/purple dot is representative of the connection and information transfer between these two civilizations, and the red dot connects these ideas back to Hayy Ibn Yaqzan.
I hope you enjoy exploring!
