Fragmentation in Frankenstein in Baghdad

Welcome to our project. Fragmentation is a prominent theme throughout Frankenstein In Bagdhad. Both in the book's structure as well as content, fragmentation is used to display discontinuity and conflict among Bagdhad's religions and social structure. Fragmentation can either be stiched together into a whole, or be pulled apart into conflicts and differences. This essence is captured by Whatsitsname because he is constructed of body parts from people with diverse ethnicities and backgrounds. Moreover, it is prominent in the many bombings that occur throughout the book in the form of the body parts that are dismantled as well as the conflict and violence that coincide with them.
