Role of Religion in Theater - Andrew Bautista

Hello and welcome to my final intertextuality project for Cultures and Ideas Honors! I am covering the role of religion in plays around the world. Sophocles' Antigone translated by Seamus Heaney is my home text, a play in which the Greek gods and divination play a major role throughout, especially in the moral of the story. Ancient Greek society certainly had strong feelings about their religion, but that isn't necessarily the case around the world.
