While a lot about the process of Santa Clara University's diversification can be gleaned from the pages of letters and memos regarding the need for it to happen, there is something much more tangible gained by seeing the physical manifestations of those changes in the photos of student life on campus. These photos show a range of the effects of SCU's outreach and emphasis on creating diversity on campus through student clubs such as The Black Student Union, or the Asian American Club, as well as the increasied number of student athletes of color. The photos also show the chaning climate of inclusivity fostered by the school in the way students are embracing people and ideas from backgrounds differing from their own.
