The Holocaust was the mass murder of European Jews during World War II at the hands of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party. Nazi Germany and its allies killed six million Jews in Europe, which was around two-thirds of the Jewish population in Europe. The main focus of this exhibit is the survivors: their stories, perspectives, and unthinkable hardships they had to endure. The true victim of this harrowing tragedy was the entire Jewish population, made up of innocent people who paid the ultimate price for being different. They are the people who need to be heard so that another atrocity like this never happens again. These are their stories.
