Nazi Extermination Camps

The major extermination camps were in German-occupied Poland and included Auschwitz, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, and Treblinka. At its peak, the Auschwitz complex, the most notorious of the sites, housed 100,000 persons at its death camp. This is a map where you can see the sites for where most of the atrocities were carried out towards innocent Jewish people.

Dachau Lied

The link above is to a song known as “Dachau Song,” also known as “Dachau Lied,” which was composed by Jura Soyfer and Herbert Zipper with the intention of resisting the persecution of Jewish people in Europe. It was sung by many inmates in Dachau.
