Throughout history American women have faced great opposition in this country and have had to fight for basic rights such as voting and adequate healthcare. This exhibit aims to educate about the women and events that have helped shaped our country through activism.

It’s an important topic, as women continue to advocate for rights and address pressing issues today. Understanding the historical context of these protests is essential. The exhibit will cover key events like the fight for women’s suffrage, the Seneca Falls Convention, and advocacy for rights in healthcare and equal pay. Additionally, the exhibit will explore first-wave and second-wave feminism.
