Mrs. America is another fictional dramatization, but it holds personal value as it was what inspired my interest in the Second Wave of Feminism. While this TV series may not be entirely accurate, it is sure to entertain and at least somewhat educate by giving brilliant performances from some of Hollywood's leading ladies of today. Sisters of '77 is a wonderful account of the National Women's Conference of 1977. It is an extension of the videos and information provided in this exhibit and gives viewers a complete look from how the conference was organized to the lasting impact it had after. This is a sorter overview of the event and incorporates comedy and commentary from today which makes it great for younger audiences. "Second wave feminism"
Rear Vision gives wonderful accounts of historical events and eras. This podcast was one of the only ones that has an overall episode on the Second Wave of Feminism and not just separate events or people. This is a great introduction into the time period. Find on the ABC Radio National website.
