This American Life podcast episode #763 [from February 25, 2022] discusses the rise of Vladimir Putin, Russia's current leader. More specifically, Act 3 of episode, titled "Maybe Pay Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain" (~15 minutes long) focuses on propaganda.
