Little Italy provided a home away from home feeling for Italian immigrants. New York, Chicago, and Boston were the main cities Italians came to. Little Italy's are seen all over America. There, Italian-Americans support each other and form a tight-knit community. In Italy, family is always important whether they are related by blood or not.
