Attack on Pearl Harbor-The Nurse's Experience

My page focuses on the Attack on Pearl Harbor from the nurse's perspective. I highlight stories from nurses who not only witnessed the attack, but also then had to treat and care for the victims. Most of the exhibits and books that talk about the Attack on Pearl Harbor are majority from the soldier’s perspective. I want to highlight the voices of the nurses who saw the brutal injuries and casualties first hand. These women's stories don't get talked about enough, and it's extremely important to make sure these stories do get told because it is both an important part of history and telling their stories honors the courageous women who stepped up through that day.
