Japanese vs American Perspectives on Hiroshima and Nagasaki

World War II was an impactful international war comprised of some of the most tragic historical occurences. America contributed greatly to the war, both beneficially and destructively. This research page will be investigating the treatment of Japanese-Americans and Japanese citizensin World War II through the lense of morality, diverse perspectives, and revisionism. Primarily, how American and Japanese American perspectives differ and how diverse perspectives alter our preconceived thinking. This exhibit will focus on the experiences and perspectives of Japanese citizens and Japanese-Americans, telling the untold stories of World War II.
